Where do the stockings come from?

Straight from each state's fish and wildlife agency, and every record names it. Some agencies confirm stockings the day they happen; others publish only a schedule. We show which.

How fast are alerts?

Confirmed feeds are checked every two hours, so an alert follows an agency's own posting within a couple of hours. Where an agency only publishes a schedule, you hear on the scheduled day.

Why only one free watch?

The map, the lists and every water page are free for everyone. Alerts are what cost us to run, so more than one watch is Pro.
